After completing the basement, the homeowner brought me back to refresh the main floor. The idea was to build on what we had started—carrying that same warmth, simplicity, and comfort throughout the space.
The design concept focused on soft layering and balance. We used neutral tones for a calm, timeless feel, then added contrast through black frames, gold hardware, and darker drapery to anchor the rooms. The modern wainscoting brought subtle texture without overwhelming the space.
Every choice—from paint colours to textiles—was made to create flow and harmony, while still letting each area feel unique. The result is a home that feels pulled together, elevated, and easy to live in.
